Gloss PPF

Gloss PPF is invisible armor. It goes on clear and keeps the factory shine. Every mile throws something at your paint. Rock chips off the 101, gravel kicked up by the truck ahead of you, bug acid baked on through a Conejo Valley summer, a shopping cart in a Thousand Oaks parking lot. All of it hits the film instead of your paint.

If you just bought the car or just had it painted, this is how it stays new.

Stealth PPF

Stealth PPF turns any paint color satin. Same protection as gloss, completely different look. It is a standalone finish with its own pricing — not an add-on, not an upcharge.

Drivers from Calabasas to Thousand Oaks come to us for stealth conversions. Come see both finishes on real panels under the shop lights before you decide.

Coverage Options

Full front is the sweet spot for most drivers: hood, fenders, bumper and mirrors — everywhere rocks actually hit. Full body wraps the whole car for maximum protection.

Front-end coverage runs two to three days. Full body runs about five.

PPF vs a Wrap

They get confused a lot. A wrap changes the color. PPF protects the color you have. Gloss PPF is nearly invisible. Stealth PPF changes the finish to satin while it protects.

Some cars get both: a full color-change wrap for the look, PPF on the front end for the protection. Ask us about the combo when you quote.

What PPF Does Not Do

PPF is tough, not magic. It shrugs off rock chips and road rash. It will not survive a keying or a shopping cart at speed, and edges can lift if a pressure washer gets under them at point blank.

We set expectations straight before we install. The film is top-shelf automotive PPF, installed in a clean bay. Wash it normally and it protects for years.

Why PPF at Vaderwerks

We install every panel in-house at our Agoura Hills studio. No mobile installers, no subcontractors. We have been protecting paint here since 2012.

Bring the car by and we will look at the paint with you under the shop lights and walk through what each coverage level actually protects, before anything starts.

FAQs — Paint Protection Film

What is the difference between gloss and stealth PPF?

Gloss PPF keeps your factory shine and goes on nearly invisible. Stealth PPF turns the paint satin. Same protection, different finish.

How much does PPF cost?

It depends on the vehicle and how much coverage you want. Send your year, make, model and a few photos and we will quote the exact job.

How long does PPF installation take?

Front-end coverage runs two to three days. Full-body coverage runs about five days.

Is PPF self-healing?

Quality PPF recovers from light swirls and fine scratches with heat — park it in the sun and minor marks smooth out.

My car is already wrapped. Do I still need PPF?

A wrap already shields paint from chips and UV. PPF is the move for unwrapped paint you want to keep perfect, or for high-impact zones on any car.

My car already has chips. Can you still put film on it?

Yes. Film will not repair existing damage, and it will seal in whatever is already there. We will show you what we find and let you decide whether to address it first.
